Visit the city of Varaždin

Beginning from your hotel in Zagreb, depart in the morning by private car and driver, to the picturesque city of Varaždin.

Roughly 90km from Zagreb, nestled along the Drava River, is the warm and vibrant city of Varaždin. Known as the “City of the Angels”, this small boutique, walkable city is a showcase of Baroque architecture. Its romantic streets welcome locals and guests alike, with the sounds of the organ grinder filling the air. With its thriving art scene and historical core, Varaždin is a center for culture, having even been the Capital of Croatia for a short while. It is also home to impressive museums whose collections hold artifacts donated by some of the prestigious families who once called this elegant city their own. The Old Town Castle is a complex of Gothic-Renaissance buildings and showcases 1100 exhibits.

We suggest a guided tour of the city, followed by time to explore and discover at your leisure.
