Travelers Need to Know

U.S. DOMESTIC TRAVEL:

Beginning May 7, 2025, every traveler 18 years of age or older will need a REAL-ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, or another TSA-acceptable form of identification at airport security checkpoints for domestic air travel.

UNITED KINGDOM:

ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization): Starting January 8, 2025, you must have an ETA to travel to the UK. This includes the USA.

EUROPEAN TRAVEL:

EES (Entry/Exit System): Starting October 12, 2025, the European Union (EU) will gradually introduce this new digital entry and exit system for non-EU citizens. The electronic travel authorization ETIAS will follow during 2026.

ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System): Will start operations in the last quarter of 2026 (no exact date set at this time). Once the program is operational, most European countries (30) will require an ETIAS. You can apply online or contact your visa partner. The cost for the authorization is $8 and is valid for three (3) years.

VENICE ACCESS FEE:

Venice introduced a €5 entry fee for day-visitors, for entrance from April to July (dates and times may vary).
