Holy Week traditions in Korčula 3/23/2024 to 4/1/2024 Holy Week traditions in Korčula During Holy week in Korčula, the three brotherhoods colourfully process through the town, with impressive costumes and religious regalia. There are three brotherhoods in the Town of Korčula: Brotherhood of All Saints, founded in 1301, the St. Rocco brotherhood, founded in 1575 and the brotherhood of St. Michael, founded in 1603. The churches and halls of the brotherhoods hold exhibits evoking the rich history of Korčulans over the centuries.

International Children’s Festival

It was first held in 1958 and soon became a major international festival.   During the festival held in June, all the squares and streets are livened up and this city is completely reigned by children from different parts of the world.
