Postoji izreka koja kaže kako je putovanje bitnije od odredišta. Ipak, kad je riječ o Amerikancima dubljeg džepa, onda i to odredište postaje itekako bitna stavka. Dobro je to iskoristila jedna od najuspješnijih putnih savjetnica za Hrvatsku i vlasnica ugledne američke turističke agencije “Tasteful Croatian Journeys”, Wanda Radetti. Ona je svoje bogato znanje o povijesti i kulturi Lijepe naše te svoju strast prema putovanjima pretvorila u odličan business. Nije to došlo preko noći, trebale su godine truda, rada, istraživanja, pokušaja i pogrešaka.

Wanda and Mirela,

As I sit out on our balcony of hotel Excelsior , looking at the old town of Dubrovnik, I can only reflect on what has been an amazing vacation. Literally a trip of a lifetime.

The Fiske family and the Grossman family can’t thank you enough for the trip you planned for us.

Every suggestion you made was perfect..

The walking city guides were amazing, the day on the yacht from Split to Kurcula was spectacular, we loved our day in Krka National Park, we rented scooters and did our own wine tasting in Lombarda and so many other amazing excursions. I loved the running tour this morning with Damir, seeing the city early in the morning before the crowds come out is so special.

 

Wanda, we are particularly thankful that we stayed at the Excelsior in Dubrovnik.

I know our friends suggested Villa Dubrovnik, but we absolutely loved our hotel, and you were right… it was NOT necessary to spend the extra money.

An extra special thanks to Mirela for some of the last minute trip adjustments, including helping arrange the hiking trip with Damir-when Moro Beach was closed. That day, which included a hike to Kocje and 2 wine tastings at 2 private homes (especially the stop at Bevanda) was spectacular. In addition, helping set up a day at BOWA for us at the last minute was a highlight for. BOWA was amazing!

 

Every excursion was better than the next, and every day was better than the next.

 

Thanks again for guiding us on this trip

And making both of our 20th Anniversaries unforgettable!

 

We would highly recommend you to anyone considering a trip to Croatia!

Dear Wanda and team,

We would like to express our delight regarding our recent visit to Croatia.  As you know, the trip was a high school graduation gift to my daughter- and our experience certainly lived up to her expectations! Everything was seamless and worry-free, from the airport transfers, to our gorgeous sea view terrace room at the Grand Villa Argentina, to our private “Game of Thrones” tour of the old city. Our favorite however was the private yacht charter- a day we will never forget! Dubrovnik is lovely, and it was an easy walk to restaurants and the old city from our hotel. Thank you so much for planning  our memorable family trip. We would love to return to Croatia in the future and will certainly call you again when we are ready to do so!
